Happy New Year! I cannot believe how quickly 2021 flew by. It was the busiest year in my business, by a lot. I am so appreciative to everyone that supported my business in the past year…it means the world to me! The first blog post for the new year is the Hiler family. I have shared tons of sessions from Sapphire Point Overlook over the years, this one was quite unique however. Not only did these Arizonians get an absolute ton of snow for their Colorado winter family photos. But they also ended their photo session in their bathing suits LOL! That was a first for me. We were all cracking up, I won’t forget this session any time soon.
The Hiler family was clearly so amazing to work with. Even with six kids that are use to warm weather nearly year round, they were such good sports for these teen temperatures! I guess it would probably be a very different story if any of them were really young kids. These tweens/teens were some truly awesome and photogenic subjects. It sure made for a fun session, with loads of great shots! We got everything from classic smiling portraits. To more candid playing in the snow shots.
This is definitely a favorite from these Colorado winter family photos. What a bunch of characters!
