I have photographed and shared a lot of Sapphire Point Overlook photos over the years. The Hamann family was a fun and memorable shoot. Largely because we really focused on many candid, natural moments. They weren’t so focused on everyone smiling and looking right at the camera. We got some of those, of course! But they wanted the kids to be free, and have some fun. So it was nice to just document them being themselves and it really allowed the kiddos’ natural personalities come out. We also lucked out with the most beautiful evening for their photo session. The lighting was perfect and the colors all seemed so vibrant…mountains were extra blue and trees were extra green! Loved it!
After getting some great variety at Sapphire Point. Everything from the mountain and lake views at the overlook, to the rustic fences, and even some shots with the patches of purple wildflowers. Next, we headed down the road to the field near Windy Point Campground. I like going to these two locations during the same photo shoot. It gets client some variety, and these locations are only about five minutes from each other. The kiddos seemed to have a lot of fun at Windy Point Campground because the ground is flat there and they could run and jump and twirl around as they pleased. I love all the joy and smiles the family tickle fight brought out.
This is definitely a favorite from the Hamann family’s photo shoot…a fun and joyful moment!
Thank you so much Hamann family! I really enjoyed meeting and photographing you all. Hopefully your summer vacation in the Colorado mountains was an unforgettable trip full of new family experiences and memories. I hope you are all doing well, I am sure the kiddos have grown a ton. You definitely have some adorable personalities on your hands 🙂 On the blog tomorrow, Andrew’s Skyline High School wrestling and urban senior photos.
