The Even Family + 1 on the way | Colorado Family Maternity Photos | Mount Falcon East

Happy Friday friends! I hope you have fun plans for this first December weekend. Today on the blog I am sharing the Even family’s Colorado family maternity photos. The last time I worked with these guys was for their maternity photos at Brainard Lake. Check those out HERE! As you can tell their little man has grown a ton since the baby bump days, and his little sister would be arriving shortly. They selected Mount Falcon East for their family session, and we had a beautiful evening in Morrison. More often people select Mount Falcon West (which is actually a 20 minute drive away). But once in a while I shoot at Mount Falcon East, and it too is a nice spot! My favorite part is the distant views of red rocks. Why not just go to red rocks? Sometimes people want some variety and not just photos with rocks formations. And more often than not there is a concert at red rocks making it too busy for an evening photo session.

Since this photo shoot was a combo of maternity photos and family portraits, we got a good mix of stuff. We got a ton of candid and posed shots of the three of them. As well as shots of Kevin and Briana together, and of course, the glowing mama by herself. The boys stuck to one outfit each, jeans and button down shirts. Briana selected two outfits for their session. She started in a peach v-neck dress with button detailing on the chest. Next, she wore a simple, belly hugging, black maternity dress. Both dresses looked great, were comfortable for moving and playing with her toddler, and photographed well.

This is one of my favorites from their Colorado family maternity photos. I love the scenery, the pretty shade of blue in the sky, and this sweet candid moment!

Thank you Even family. I hope I get an opportunity to photograph you again sometime as a family of four (outside of the belly that is LOL)! It’s still surprising we haven’t run into one another in Firestone since we live in the same neighborhood and all 🙂 On the blog next, an awesome couple’s session in Fort Collins with Drea and Nate to celebrate their upcoming 40th birthdays!
