Kate – Class of 2025 | Boulder Colorado Senior Session | South Mesa Trail

A few years ago I did Kate’s twin brothers’ senior photos during my fall mini sessions at the Lavern M. Johnson Park in Lyons. They are fraternal twins, like my sister and I. That’s always fun to see their different personalities! Kate’s mom wanted to hire me again. No big surprise, since she’s a female (and they usually enjoy having their photos taken a lot more than their male counterparts) that they decided on a longer, full session. Mini sessions can be a good option if someone has a later senior deadline. If they also don’t desire an outfit change, or the ability to pick the location. Typically, if you want a more personalized session though, a full session is the way to go. Kate and her mom decided on South Mesa Trail for her Boulder Colorado senior session.

Kate wore three different outfits for her senior session. But one of them she liked so much, she actually decided to change back into it for the remainder of the session. She started in her most casual outfit. Trendy, baggy jeans and a sage green cropped top. Next, she wore a fitted black dress. She kept to her own personal style by pairing her black and white Converse with the black dress. That is why there are a lot more images in that one particular outfit, than the others. For a short time she also changed into some adorable white, linen pants and a cropped black top. She looks beautiful in anything she wears. So photogenic, I absolutely loved having her in front of my camera! I definitely have major hair envy. Her long, brunette locks are just stunning, and stayed so perfectly throughout the entire session. Lucky girl!

This is definitely one of my favorites from Kate’s Boulder Colorado senior session. I just love this fierce pose and shooting through greenery for an artistic effect!
