Today on the blog I am sharing beautiful Averi’s Legacy High senior photos. There were many elements to this session. We went to multiple locations, she had three different outfits, she added floral bouquets into her session, and she even included her bestie in for some “BFF senior photos”. It turned out to be a really great session that I won’t soon forget! We started out a Lair o’ the Bear park in Idledale. It had been ages since I had used this pretty location. But Averi was really looking for a more unique location. Not the same that most of her classmates also used. She and her mom decided on Lair o’ the Bear because they liked all of the trees and the river access. She even dipped her toes and the bottom of her dress at one point.
Averi started in a long blue dress. It had a pretty lace detail near the knees, and a slight boho feel. Since there weren’t really flowers at this location, they brought along some handmade bouquets. That added a nice, personalized touch to her senior photos. Next she wore a short white dress. This has become such a staple for my senior clients. We weren’t necessarily planning on going to a secondary location, but we decided on Mount Falcon West in order to add in some nice variety with the stunning mountain views.
At Mount Falcon Averi started in the white dress still. Then changed into her third and final dress, my personal favorite. This was a long, lilac dress. The color was truly gorgeous with her skin tone and hair color. We utilized the handmade bouquets again for some of the photos in this outfit. We used practically every last bit of natural light, and were rewarded with an epic, pastel sunset. The moon was even visible, and Averi mentioned how much she loves the moon. So I was sure to capture that too! It was the perfect end to a great session.

This is one of my favorites from Averi’s Legacy High senior photos. I love the motion in her dress and the lush greenery surrounding her. So pretty!

Thank you so much Averi! Wishing you the best senior year and all of life’s blessings in your future. I enjoyed having you in front of my camera. Documenting this important milestone in your life, as well as this special friendship before you go your separate ways in college. I hope you love the way the photos turned out! Speaking of high school friends, next on the blog, one of my own high school friends. The Bickford’s family photos from the Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park in Loveland. They got into a river, just like Averi did. Check back soon!
