Ellen – Class of 2026 | Silver Creek High Senior Pictures | Betasso Preserve Boulder

Meet Ellen! She was really easy-going, sweet, and a lot of fun to photograph. Ellen didn’t have a ton of requests during her Silver Creek High senior pictures. The main thing she wanted was a field of tall grasses. Betasso Preserve seemed like a good option and we basically had the place to ourselves. That is one of my favorite things about this spot, it’s never packed with other photographers (like many other Boulder locations). Betasso Preserve offers great mountain views, expansive open fields, rustic fences, and lots of pine trees. I really don’t get up there near enough. But I have really loved all of the sessions over the years at this hidden gem location.

Ellen selected three outfits during her Boulder senior session. She started in casual jeans, a tie-front navy blue top, and finished with Adidas sneakers. This was my personal favorite, because the navy blue looked so great with Ellen’s dark hair and in this mountain setting. Next she wore a tiered, simple white dress. She paired this with some casual Birkenstock sandals. Ellen’s final outfit was the most cozy and casual. She wore the trendy, baggy jeans and a simple cream colored sweater. She didn’t wear this one for very long, but we got some great shots in it before calling it a night. I really liked the way this outfit looked in our final setting, the zig zag wooden fence. What a great session! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
