The Crouch Family | Breckenridge Summer Family Photos | Sapphire Point Overlook

The Crouch family was visiting from Washington state and decided they wanted a photo session during their visit. We met up at Sapphire Point for their Breckenridge summer family photos in the beautiful Colorado mountains. As I usually do, we also made a quick stop at Windy Point Campground, just down the road, to add some variety to their session. These locations are always my “go to” in Summit County. They are pretty year round and don’t require a hike to great views. Not that I am unwilling to hike, but many clients appreciate this (especially parents of little kids).

The Crouch family looked great during their photoshoot. The girls wore pretty dresses and the guys wore jeans and polo shirts. Everyone incorporated at least one shade of blue to tie all of their looks together. The blues popped well against all of the green in the backdrop. And this was an unusually green summer for us, because we got a whole lot of rain this summer. We got a good mix of smiling, posed moments, and fun, candid and even silly photos. Their kiddos each have their own unique personalities that I think we brought out in these photos. And we ended with some sweet, romantic photos of mom and dad…since those are so important too!

This is definitely one of my favorites from the Crouch’s Breckenridge summer family photos. Sweet smiles and such a gorgeous backdrop…I love it!

Thanks Crouch family, I loved working together! I hope you had an incredible vacation, full of lifelong core moments. Next on the blog I am sharing Katie and Jacob’s sweet, intimate elopement at the Denver Botanic Gardens on a rainy September afternoon. It was just the two of them, and myself. They didn’t have an official ceremony. They read their vows to one another and then they signed their marriage license and then we got a ton of gorgeous images all over the grounds of the gardens.
