Sammie + Devan | Clock Tower Events Wedding | Denver Wedding Photographer

A few weeks back I participated in a Clock Tower Events wedding styled shoot in Downtown Denver. I was so excited because I have wanted to check out this venue since I learned of it’s existence, years ago. Although it was a little different than I expected, it is still very cool! The space is smaller than I expected, and split between several floors. But I think it’s the perfect space for the cool, urban couple, looking for a very intimate, unique venue, in the heart of the city. I will be sharing another post from this styled shoot, in the coming months. There was an engaged couple that I worked with the most during this shoot. Since I had so many great shots with them, I decided they deserved their own blog post! So check back for that 🙂

So much work and expertise from numerous top-notch wedding vendors went into this shoot. I, for one, am extremely grateful for all of the efforts that went into putting this elaborate and detailed shoot together. Everything was on point! The florals were colorful and beautiful…I especially loved the unique bridesmaids’ floral wreaths. The cake was impeccable and vibrant, all of our models looked amazing, and the stationery suite was sparkly and perfectly designed. A Love Tale brought tables full of decor and props for us to use for details photos as well. This was really great, because we could still be individuals in a group shootout setting. We could pick props that fit our brands, interests, or one’s that just sparked some creativity in us. That was really fun! My dad has been fixing typewriters for his entire adult life, and has recently started his own business repairing them. He also enjoys collecting old typewriters, and even got one signed my Tom Hanks (a typewriter enthusiast himself!). So, when I saw a vintage typewriter there, I just had to incorporate it into some of my photos.

I would love to chat with you about your own Colorado wedding plans 🙂 While I most frequently shoot rustic barn weddings, or epic mountain locations, it is so much fun to mix things up now and again and photograph a contemporary, city wedding too! Hopefully this styled Clock Tower Events wedding shoot gives you a lot of great inspiration, regardless of the style of wedding you are planning. I sure have been inspired! I am currently planning my own styled wedding shoot for this summer. It will be very different from this one, it will be an adventure elopement at a hidden Colorado gem. It will be on a much smaller scale than this one, but this shoot has made me very excited to see my own vision come to life!

A special thank you to all of the awesome vendors that made this shoot a reality!
